mother and their maternal grandmother, Sarah Cartwright, her marriage to 1st,
John Hickman in 1828, including their 5 children, her 2nd marriage to Barclay
Benbow in 1844. Barclay owned a farm at Mt. Pleasant, just south of Muncie,
Henry Co., IN. The paper also privides insights into their parents and life in
east central and southeastern Indiana in the late 1800's. Parker, IN.
