Several researchers have indicated Michael's wife is Mary Elizabeth Samuels,
daughter of John and Lucy (Woolfolk) Samuels. No one has ever found a marriage
record as proof. A transcript of John Samuels' will appears in, The Samuels
Family Story, Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois, 1971, by Muriel
(Martens) Hoffman. His will names his wife, Lucy, and eight children, none of
whom are named Mary, Elizabeth, or Mary Elizabeth, although Michael's wife,
Elizabeth, was living at the time of John Samuels' death. Further, The Samuels
Family History, traces the family through Delaware, Virginia, and further west
in the first chapter. None of the daughters were named Mary, Elizabeth, or
Mary Elizabeth.

Family/Spouse: Michael Arbogast. Michael (son of Michael Arbogast and Catherina Konigin) was born about 27 Sep. 1732 in Kehl, Baden, Germany; was christened on 27 Sep 1732 in Christuskirche, Kehl, Baden, Germany; died on 27 Aug 1812 in Crabbottom Sect., Pendleton Co., Va, Now, Highland Co., Va; was buried in Blue Grass, Virginia.
