fathered a daughter prior to his marriage, Mary Catherine by ?. Mary Catherine
married Ashby Sponaugle. Isaac and Rosetta were married at Wm. Hinkle's home
on Dry Run by Rev. Martin Bennett. In his obit. Isaac was born near the North
Fork of Head of the Potomac.

Same person as #3420 in Rosetta's line to Mary Arbogast.

Isaac married Rosetta Myers on 13 Oct 1875 in Dry Run, Pendleton Co., Wv. Rosetta was born on 8 May 1861 in Crabbottom, Highland Co., Va; died on 15 Feb 1957 in Staunton, Va; was buried in Green Hill Cem., Churchville, Va. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

name is Rosetta Mullennax, daughter of John William Myers and Martha Ann
Mullennax, daughter of William Henry and Nancy (Murphy) Millenax. See RIN #

John William and Martha Ann were never married. She was pregnant and they
planned to marry, but he was called into Confederate service. Highland History
by Morton, p. 120... The Highland Company was mustered into service at
Monterey, May 18. Capt. Felix. H. Hull, lst. Lt. John William Myers, etc.
Capt. John William was captured and imprisoned 20 Aug 1863 at Johnson Island
until 11 Jun 1865. An Attorney and Judge, he remained in Monterey, calling on
Martha Ann one Sunday afternoon, and claimed his daughter. Neither ever
married. Military Records, National Archives, Wash., D.C., cited.

Run is about 4 miles from Dry Run, the HOME PLACE. Big Run is where Helen's
grandfather had a grocery store and post office. It was called Mullennex, WV,
prior to 1900. In 1860, family is in Dry Fork Dist. of Randolph Co. Not
certain when they returned to Pendleton Co. In 1870 the family was back in Dry
Run, Pendleton Co. In 1880 John Wesley was "commuting" between Randolph and
Pendleton Cos. He is listed in both places; Randolph Co. with a housekeeper,
Catherine Simmons, 24, and in Pendleton Co. with his wife and family. In 1884
or 85, he had a son, John Ward Mullennex, born to Ellen Teter. John Ward
married in 1904 to Mary Elizabeth Teter in Randolph Co. They had two sons, he
left her before 1910 and migrated to Canada where he married Sophie M. Hoehne.
About 1926 they migrated to La Grande, Union Co., OR, where their 7th child was
born. In later life, after Sophie died, he married a widow in Baker, OR, Erma
____?.

In 1885, John Wesley took a common law wife, Molly Johnson. They had two
daughters, Vernie, b. May 1885, and Sallie, b. 5 Feb 1887, at Gandy, Randolph
Co., WV. Vernie m. 1st, Wm. Harrison White in 1904. They had a daughter. Her
second marriage was to Morgan Cochran. They had a son and a daughter. Sallie
m. Charles Mullenax in 1904. They had 5 children. Lived at Hambleton, Tucker
Co. Sallie died 29 Nov 1971 at Margantown, WV, buried at Mc Neely Cem. One of
their sons, John Jefferson Mullennex, served in the WV Legislature.

About 1898, John Wesley marrried Verdie Roy, age 18 or 19, in Randolph Co. A
daughter, Bessie was born, 3 Jul 1900, but only lived a few months. Son, James
Lee, was born, 21 Jun 1901. Virdie died giving birth. James Lee married Alice
McDaniel in 1928 in Texas. In 1903, John Wesley Married a 16 year old, Alice
Teter. A copy of their marriage record is on file. They had two sons, Lee, b.
20 Mar 1904, and Earl, b. 1906.

John married Mary Catherine Judy on 7 Jun 1852 in Pendleton Co., Va/Wv. Mary was born on 20 Aug 1832 in Pendleton Co., Va; died on 15 Jun 1898 in Big Run, Pendleton Co., Wv. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

According to Helen Fest, a descendant, her tombstone indicates year of birth
as 1833 and death as 15 Jun 1900. Obituary indicates date of death as shown,
but she died on North Fork. Buried at old Judy family cemetery on North Fork,
Pendleton Co. near Snowy Range.
