    DEATH: Listed as surviving sister (Mrs. Jonas Wymer of Circleville) in obituary
    of brother, Jacob A. Arbogast in, Obituaries from Newspapers of Northern West
    Virginia, Vol. 2, p. 500.

    MARRIAGE: Above obituary confirms Pendleton Co. marriage record of Mary S.
    Arbogast and Jonas Wimer, also 1880 Pendleton Co. Census.

    NOTE: It is puzzling that she was not named in her father's will dated 1898.
    Bonnie Vance Miller writes that her mother remembered her quite well and that
    she was called, Aunt Sis Wimer, by the family...this note by Amanda Arbogast
    Forbes RIN 490 comments, from which this is copied, in file.

    BIRTH: Estimated from Pendleton Co., VA/WV Census of 1850, 60, 70 and 80.

    MARRIAGE: Pendleton Co., VA Marriage Records and Marriage Bonds published by
    Mary Harter. Bond dated 4 Jun 1840 and Marriage registered 2 Mar 1841.

    CHILDREN: From Census Records and from Will. Will names 8 sons and 3
    daughters. Child Adam died young. For some reason daughter Mary was not named
    in Will although she is known by family to have married and lived many years.
    Also, obituary of son Jacob mentions sister Mrs. Jonas Wimer as survivor in
    1932. See notes of Mary S. Wimer.

    LOCATION: Letter in 1957 to Amanda Arbogast Forbes from Miss Kate Arbogast,
    Charlottsville, VA who was born in 1875 and lived in Circleville in her early
    years. Miss Arbogast says that Lemuel lived in Cherry Grove Section of
    Pendleton Co.

    DEATH: Will of 5 Jan 1898 recorded 10 Jun 1903 in Will Book 5, p. 399,
    Pendleton Co., WV.
