    • From THE JAMES PAPERS. Date of death and place are unknown after he left his
      family in 1926 and went to Florida. All efforts to locate him were
      unsuccessful. He was the oldest child of Joseph and Matilda. He worked in the
      lumber busines with his father in Columbus, OH and Bellevue, MI. During WW I
      he was in construction work in Chillicothe, OH. Following the war his main
      occupation was in real estate.
