  Keith was a talented musician who played alto sax with big name bands including Jack Wardlaw (Jacksonville, FL. , 1937), and the Dorsey brothers, Tommy and Jimmy , about 1938-1940. He later became a music teacher and assistant band director at the Lancaster Co. H.S. in Kilmarnock, VA in 1947. He was also an excellent auto mechanic, and one of the first mechanics to be certified by the Kaiser-Frazer Corp. when they first started selling those cars in 1947.
