Amanda is descended from George Arbogast, son of Michael Arbogast, the pioneer. Raised a foster child as one of their own, Walter Stewart. Photo in file of Walter with Naomi holding granddaughter, Joyce Cantley, daughter of Lucy Esta (Arbogast) and Dewey Cantley. Photo taken about 1928. Walter was only 3 mos. of age when they took him to raise. Headstone indicates date of birth as 10 Dec 1867, date of death as 17 Jan 1937.
