  Information from Amanda Arbogast Forbes research record # 21 copy in file. On 1870 census, Randolph Co., age 66; 1880 census Randolph Co., age 75 according to records of Beverly Kenny (Mrs. Donald) Pensacola, FL. John and wife Mary assign their interest in 160ac. of land in Pendleton Co., VA, 21 Feb. 1831. See Deed Book 11, p. 30. It is possible that John married a second time to Elizabeth. See 1860 census of Randolph Co., age 55, Elizabeth, age 25. Census records indicate possibility of these additional children: Jacob, born about 1856; Clara, born about 1852 and John, born about 1859. Needs investigation. Record of land sales in Randolph Co., VA/WV from Jean S. Loudin. 63ac. in 1837 on Haddon's Run, 100ac. in 1842 on Valley River and 100ac. in 1844 on Stuart Run.
