  BIRTH: Estimated from Pendleton Co., VA/WV Census of 1850, 60, 70 and 80. MARRIAGE: Pendleton Co., VA Marriage Records and Marriage Bonds published by Mary Harter. Bond dated 4 Jun 1840 and Marriage registered 2 Mar 1841. CHILDREN: From Census Records and from Will. Will names 8 sons and 3 daughters. Child Adam died young. For some reason daughter Mary was not named in Will although she is known by family to have married and lived many years. Also, obituary of son Jacob mentions sister Mrs. Jonas Wimer as survivor in 1932. See notes of Mary S. Wimer. LOCATION: Letter in 1957 to Amanda Arbogast Forbes from Miss Kate Arbogast, Charlottsville, VA who was born in 1875 and lived in Circleville in her early years. Miss Arbogast says that Lemuel lived in Cherry Grove Section of Pendleton Co. DEATH: Will of 5 Jan 1898 recorded 10 Jun 1903 in Will Book 5, p. 399, Pendleton Co., WV.
