1993, in file. Albert and Rachel first lived on the Back Ridge property
inherited from Jacob Wimer. By 1920 cs. they were apparently living in the
Bland Hills of Germany Valley. About 1928 they moved to Rawley Springs in west
Rockingham Co., VA, then moved to Harrisonburg about 1931 where they lived when
Albert died. Rachel, who outlived all her children, lived with a Smith family
north of Franklin in her later years. In 1974-75 she moved to her
granddaughter's home in Colonial Beach where she died. Albert buried with his
mother in the Sponaugle Cem., Rachel was buried with her family on Timber
Ridge. Huffman research includes descendants.
