  Source is two family trees assembled by Marjorie (Arbogast) Shrack and drawn by Frances Arbogast, dated 17 Jul 1965 at Indianapolis, IN. Additional source is a 1992 paper by Essie (Arbogast) Hamilton and her sister, Meade (Arbogast) Hamilton, copy in file. The paper is primarily on their mother and their maternal grandmother, Sarah Cartwright, her marriage to 1st, John Hickman in 1828, including their 5 children, her 2nd marriage to Barclay Benbow in 1844. Barclay owned a farm at Mt. Pleasant, just south of Muncie, Henry Co., IN. The paper also privides insights into their parents and life in east central and southeastern Indiana in the late 1800's.
