Pershing A Arbogast Obituary



Pershing A. "Percy" Arbogast, 86, of Green Bank, passed away Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Arbogast was born Dec. 20, 1917, at Dunmore and was the son of the late William and Doshie Ervin Arbogast.
He was a member of the Arbovale United Methodist Church, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, was owner and operator of Percy's Autobody Repair and was a World War II U.S. Army Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Arbogast, in 1995; and two brothers, Artines Arbogast and Golden Arbogast.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Arbogast of Green Bank; one daughter, Janet Warner of Marlinton; one son, Ted Arbogast and wife, Karen, of Du Bois, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Linda Nall of Robinson, Ill., and Cora J. Childers of Indianapolis, Ind.; one stepson, Randall McLane of Red House; two grandsons, J.T. Arbogast of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Jonathan Arbogast of Akron, Ohio; two sisters, Onita Puffenbarger of Davenport, Fla., and Eloise Puffenbarger of Cool Ridge; and one goddaughter, Nancy Mock of Marlinton.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Arbovale United Methodist Church. The Rev. Tom Hill will officiate and interment will follow in Arbovale Cemetery. Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale is in charge of arrangements.
