8. Abel Arbogast was born in Jun 1877 in Pendleton Co., Wv (son of Isaac N. Arbogast and Sallie A. Waybright); and died. Notes:
6 children, 5 living in 1910 per Glenn Huffman research. Collins' Brush Run,
p.555, lived in Sinks before going to Canton, OH. Oldest son killed by a train
on the old log road near Horton Wye, Elk Mt., several years later the oldest
daughter was killed by a train while walking along the tracks in Scio, Ohio.
In 1970 Thelma and John lived on the east side of Canton, OH, Kenneth and
Norman were deceased, one boy lived in PA, and one in Bridgeport, OH. Norma
married a Sponaugle, Thelma married Ralph Walters. Abel's widow married
Charles Bennett. In addition to the unnamed oldest son, the children listed
are Kenneth, Ivy (m), Norma, John, Leona, Virgil, Betty, Thelma, and Charles.Abel married Ella C. Consuella May on 5 Nov 1896 in Pendleton Co., Wv. Ella was born in Dec 1881; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
