19. His farm, 3 mi. south of Douglas, contains 320 ac. of land, known as the,
Lone Birch Stock Farm. He has been an extensive raiser of stock, principally
Short Horn cattle and Poland China swine. County Assessor, Director and
School Trustee, and dealer in fruits.

histories but was not in will. Will probated in June 1852 term of Court,
actual date of death unknown. PHOTO OF TOMBSTONE IN FILE INDICATES 1760 BIRTH.

1880 Census of Pendleton County, Court Records and County histories. AAF
Record "A".

Ref: WBH; tombstone marked 1760-1861 by WBH in about 1940. She later said that
1861 was her error. Granddaughter Hulda (Arbogast) Yeager said that he
died before she was born (in 1858). Was married near Hevener's Store.
Received second eyesight before he died accoding to legend.
