Included in the papers is a transcript of an article from the Monday, May 19, 1958 issue of the Los Angeles Times wherein Glen and Emerald were observing their 50th Wedding Anniversary. They were both civic leaders of the community. Their married life started when they eloped to be married since her family planned to move to New York. Mr. Arbogast was also a business leader of the area and President Emeritus of the Eagle Rock Chamber of Commerce.
