His brother, Adam, Jr. relocated to Lewis Co. about the same time, as did many other families about this same time - to Upshur Co. as well. Brother, James moved to Upshur Co. Birth estimated from Census Records. Highland Co., VA 1850, age 16; 1880 Lewis Co., WV, age 48, wife 46. Marriage record, Highland Co., VA age 21, wife 19; names all parents. 1900 Lewis Co. Census with wife, son James (widower) and 3 of James children; Albert (born Jun 1895), William (born 1898), and Peter (born 1894). Also in household is another grandson of Daniel, Delbert Arbogast born 1886. By process of elimination Delbert must be child of one of the four oldest children of Daniel, most likely the son of James from a marriage or union prior to his marrying Olive.
