Arbogast family may have been caring for the infant. 1850 Census of Braxton Co., VA/WV indicates age as 22, name Margaret, with husband Nichodemus, age 25 and daughter, Edith age 1, all born in VA. Correct name may have been Mary Margaret Simmons or Nichodemus could have been married earlier to a Margaret. Olive Reedy Wriston's records indicate a Mary Hanshaw was Nichodemus' wife at the time Sarah D. Arbogast was born.
