Notes - From ROSEMARY PICKETT PAPERS. Pleasant Hill Cemetery is between Alger and
Houndhead Village in Hardin Co., OH. According to Rosemary's extract from "The
History of Hardin Co., OH" by Warner & Beers, Chicago, Solomon was as early
settler of Roundhead Twp. settling on Scioto Marsh where he farmed and then in
the Bowdle settlement. They then lived in Roundhead Village where he was
involved in teaming until his death. Member of the Society of the Bowdle Church
which was affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal Church. He and Mary had four
sons and five daughters, seven living in 1883, four in Roundhead Village.
