  Ref: WBH; Evelyn Beard (mother of WBH) said that Henry was what would now be called an evangelist. Monroe Beard (brother of WBH) letter 28 February 1938, from Chris Arbogast (Adam/Benjamin): Henry was shot to death by the Southern army and Benjamin's other four sons came across to the Union army. Eli Buzzard was killed on the same night. Ref: Jim and Rita Wooddell records, January 1994, in February 1862, the Pocahontas County Court offered a $500 reward for the arrest and conviction of the murderers, Al Tuning, Jack Tuning, and ____ Cunningham.
