Family group record from same source, indicates name is Rosetta Mullennax, daughter of John William Myers and Martha Ann Mullennax, daughter of William Henry and Nancy (Murphy) Millenax. See RIN # 9501 for Martha Ann Mullenax. John William and Martha Ann were never married. She was pregnant and they planned to marry, but he was called into Confederate service. Highland History by Morton, p. 120... The Highland Company was mustered into service at Monterey, May 18. Capt. Felix. H. Hull, lst. Lt. John William Myers, etc. Capt. John William was captured and imprisoned 20 Aug 1863 at Johnson Island until 11 Jun 1865. An Attorney and Judge, he remained in Monterey, calling on Martha Ann one Sunday afternoon, and claimed his daughter. Neither ever married. Military Records, National Archives, Wash., D.C., cited.
