  From THE ROSEMARY SUMMERS PICKETT PAPERS citing, among other sources, "A Standard History of Springfield and Clark Co., Ohio" Vol. II, by Dr. Benjamin Price, 1922, federal census reports for the period, estate records of Henry Arbogast and cemetery records. Years of birth and death from Hugh Smith of So. Vienna, OH. 1880 census indicates name as Preston. Wilma Beard Harper visited South Vienna, OH, in Sep 1956 to copy records of the Peter Arbogast, of Michael, and his wife from graves in the area. While in OH, visited with Cresten Arbogast, a descendant of Peter, at Catawba, OH, per Christmas, 1956 card and note from Wilma to Marjorie (Arbogast) Shrack at Alexandria, IN, who gave it to Reba? for Frances Arbogast to see and take to their reunion. Marjorie mentioned in her not that her busband was going into St. Johns Hospital at Anderson after Christman - not much they can do for him. See Frances Arbogast file.
