Shattuck, OK, before going to the V.A. Hospital at Ft. Leavenworth where he
died. He served in the Civil War, L. Co., 1st MO State Militia Cavalry.

Arbogast, Parker, IN, 22 Oct 1912, confirming David's death and burial with
full military honors. Effects sent to his daughter Ida L. Hall, Grand, OK, R#

Civil War Pension Files, notes from AAF, enlisted Jan 1863 yet another record
indicates 14 Mar 1862 at St. Joseph, MO, applied for pension in 1893 after his
wife died. Record indicates he was born 26 Nov 1825 in OH, died 24 Mar 1912,
married 20 Mar 1849 in Champaign Co., OH, 3 children listed as Zebulon b. 8 Aug
1852, Rudolphus G. b. 2 Feb 1859, and Ida Alice Hall, b. 8 Feb 1861. He lived
at Troy, KS 1864-1874, Eureka, NV until 1879, then Butte, MT until 1886. In
1893 when applying for pension he lived at Salmon City, Lemhi Co., ID. In 1907
to National Home at Leavenworth, KS.
