1. Lincoln Charles Burner was born on 10 Dec 1912 in , Pocahontas , West Virginia, United States; died on 17 Apr 1989 in , , Muskigum Co., Oh; was buried in Northwood Cem, Cambridge, Oh. Notes:
Information from Avis Irene (Wimer) Arbogast of Newport, PA, by letter 10 Jun
1993 in file. Lincoln is the author of, The Middle Ground, University of Hard
Knocks Press, Richwood, WV. This is a very interesting historical novel, with
significant basis in fact, about the people who lived in the border Counties of
Virginia and West Virginia around the area of Pocahontas County, and the events
which took place during the Civil War. Several Arbogasts are prominent
characters in the novel, and there is considerable evidence that some of the
things which occurred are true. The Arbogasts, like so many families, were
split by the war and the circumstances of the times.Lincoln married Norma Talmadge Delany on 2 Jun 1937. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
