Helen, age 22, both born in VA. The name, Helen, may have been misintrepreted
for Elvira or Helvis. There is a Lewis Co., WV Marriage Record for a James C.
Arbogast and Elvira McCloud which is believed to be this James C. Arbogast. No
children are listed on the 1880 Census since they had not been married very

1879 in, History of Mc Lean County, Illinois, by Wm. Le Baron. Book in
possession of the Lexington, IL Genealogical Society. According to the book
Jane Caroline had 7 children with 5 living in 1879. Two must have died young.
The five children are listed with the spouse of the first three along with
several dates as shown. Dr. Gray married again following Jane's death. This
