Candice Frances (Ely) Strout the second wife of Clyde Stewart Arbogast for
files. Candice was born 19 Dec 1904 at Arlington, Washington Co., NE. They were
married in 1927. Candice is Ted's mother's half-sister. Candice's children are
Frances Helen Strout b. Feb 1926 at Omaha, Douglas Co., NE, and Robert Eugene
Strout b. 6 Oct 1927 at Arlington, Washington Co., NE, marr. 23 Jan 1949,
Dorothy Mae Ramsey (8 Jul 1929-8 Jan 1974) dau. of Arthur Gleburn Ramsey and
Lucille Rhyne at Burley, ID. Their children are, all born in CA, Barbara Ann

Church and that he lived in Shelby Co., Green Twp. in 1851, moved to Clinton
Twp. in 1858, returning to Green Twp. in 1865.

OH, visited with Cresten Arbogast, a descendant of Peter, at Catawba, OH, per
Christmas, 1956 card and note from Wilma to Marjorie (Arbogast) Shrack at
Alexandria, IN, who gave it to Reba? for Frances Arbogast to see and take to
their reunion. Marjorie mentioned in her not that her busband was going into
St. Johns Hospital at Anderson after Christman - not much they can do for him.

1900 Lewis Co. Census with wife, son James (widower) and 3 of James children;
Albert (born Jun 1895), William (born 1898), and Peter (born 1894). Also in
household is another grandson of Daniel, Delbert Arbogast born 1886. By
process of elimination Delbert must be child of one of the four oldest children
of Daniel, most likely the son of James from a marriage or union prior to his

IL, well known businessmen, living at Farmer City, just outside the city. He
was born on a farm near Mechanicsburg, OH. He came to IL with his parents in
1839. His parents acquired a farm near Parnell.

History of De Witt County, Illinois, 1882, W. R. Brink & Co. Daniel was in
his 12th year when he came to De Witt Co. with his parents. Farmer, stockman
and manufacturer of brick. Children listed in order of birth, and spouse where
known.

Additional information from, History of Mc Lean Co., IL, Vol. 2, p. 565, by
Bateman and Shelly. Santa Anna Township, De Witt County is now Mt. PleasantTownship.
