Morton and marriage records of Pendleton Co., VA/ WV. Marriage to Mary Yeager by Samuel Shannon. The Jane Barnes Papers indicate year of death as 1814 since there was a public auction of his property on 6 Sep 1814. Jane also lists two land warrants for military service as Warrant # 12442, 2 Apr 1792, 10 ac on Crabbottom and # 1814, 3 Jul 1794, 85 ac on Crabbottom.
