1852 Frances drew or had drawn, an Arbogast Family Tree of her branch of the
descendants of Sandford and Isabella (Hays) Arbogast, her fraternal
grandparents, 17 Jul 1965 from data compiled by her and Marjorie (Arbogast)
Shrack. Her files were left to Mr. Robert Deal, of her mother's family, who
permitted me to copy freely from them. Frances and Marjorie, #8894, are 1st
cousins. There is substantial material in the file to indicate Frances' sister
Rebecca (Reba) assisted with the family tree.

The Jane Barnes Papers indicate year of death as 1814 since there was a public
auction of his property on 6 Sep 1814. Jane also lists two land warrants for
military service as Warrant # 12442, 2 Apr 1792, 10 ac on Crabbottom and #
1814, 3 Jul 1794, 85 ac on Crabbottom. Jane also confirms data from others but
indicates James was born in 1761 or 1762.

Book contains the operations of this regiment during the Civil War. Nicholas'
name is inscribed on a bronze tablet in the Illinois Monument at Vicksburg, MS.
This book contains a wedding photo of Nicholas and Elizabeth, and a wealth of
other excellent photographs of Colaws and allied families, including the author
and her family.
