6408 | Jesse Edgar Arbogast was killed in action by the explosion of a high explosive shell, while fighting in Belgium in the Lys-Scheldt offensive. His death occurred Nov. 1, 1918. He had been serving as a private in Co. D. 361st Inf., 91st Div. Private Arbogast had entered service early in the war and trained at camp Lewis,Washington. He went overseas July 7, 1918.
